Trump<\/p>\n<p>No. It totally <strong>is<\/strong> free speech. and, it is the most protected form of free speech, political speech. Lord knows I heard that from enough right wingers. They were arguing that it was wrong to &#8220;de-platform&#8221; right wing pundits just because they were lying about vaccines, elections, mass shootings and such. Lies should be protected they inferred since not everything those pundits were saying was a lie. <\/p>\n<p>I never followed that &#8220;logic&#8221;. But what Jimmy Kimmel said was not a lie. It was an opinion\/observation, and it was true. I&#8217;m sure those right wingers who were clutching their pearls a few years ago will defend Mr. Kimmel.
