My disdain for smartphones is well known. However I am often faced with the problem of smartphone videos sent to me by relatives and friends appearing sideways or upside down on my computer. The solution is a free ware program called Freemake Video Converter. It can rotate videos as well as change one video format into another format easily. Watch out when you install it though, it will try to install programs you don’t want, so make sure to uncheck the boxes for these when you are installing.
