An Important Message

The Internet is an important part of almost everyone’s life nowadays. BUT there are a lot of powerful concerns that want to change it. One problem is the TransPacific Partnership. A trade agreement between several countries (including the US) that is VERY heavy on copyright laws. The TPP is being negotiated in secret, because (as several negotiators have admitted) it would be very unpopular with the citizens of many of those countries. If it would be so unpopular, then why are we doing it? This is an issue to which we should all pay attention. This video from OpenMedia outlines some of the worrisome issues with the agreement.
